CURRENT REGULATIONS

The Colombian law has declared Botanic Gardens to be priority centers within the environmental agenda and has acknowledged their importance in preserving the national biodiversity.

LAW 299, 1996

This law protects the Colombian floral resources, establishes rules for the Botanic Gardens, and states other considerations. The Law contains the following articles:
